El Congreso local y los cabildos representan una de las fuerzas políticas más importantes del estado, por esa razón, Sonora Ciudadana AC decidió darles un seguimiento puntual a sus realidades, obligaciones y capacidades.

En este contexto, el proyecto “Monitoreo Legislativo Sonorense” (MLS) es solamente un ejemplo de todo lo que puede hacer la sociedad civil al pedir cuentas claras de sus representantes.

El MLS tiene como objetivo primordial el darle seguimiento a la actividad que desempeñan las y los Legisladores locales, para así poder formar e informa a la ciudadanía en cuanto a las actividades que se concretan en el Poder Ejecutivo.

El MLS es financiado por la Embajada Suiza en México y tiene como principal escaparate su página web, www.sonoraciudadana.org.mx/mls donde constantemente se actualiza la información referente a los 33 diputadas y diputados que forman la actual legislatura (58) y sobre el trabajo desempeñado por 4 comisiones legislativas.
